Gilly Harradence
LLB (Hons), MBA, LLM (Dispute Resolution)
– Solicitor Advocate/Director
Gilly is a seasoned Solicitor Advocate with extensive experience in various areas of law, including Civil, Commercial, Company, Conveyancing, Divorce and Criminal. She is a member of the Solicitor’s Association of Higher Court Advocates, the Institute of Licensing and Women in Criminal Law and is qualified to represent clients in both Civil and Criminal courts.
Gilly holds a Law degree, and an MBA, as well as a Masters in Dispute Resolution. She is a firm believer that mediation/Alternative dispute resolution is a better, quicker and cheaper way of resolving issues. Her comprehensive educational background is complemented by her prior career in business, which has provided her with valuable commercial and regulatory law knowledge, particularly in Licensing, Commercial Law and Transport.
In her limited spare time, Gilly enjoys writing, listening to vintage comedy, driving vintage cars and improving her Welsh language skills.

Claire Laudan

– Director/Solicitor
Claire has a wealth of experience as a solicitor and a comprehensive knowledge base. She completed her Law degree in 2017 while gaining invaluable experience from her tenure at HM Courts & Tribunals Service. She specialises in several areas of law, including Conveyancing, Probate, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Divorce.
She is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring that every client receives personalised attention and support tailored to their particular needs. Client satisfaction lies at the heart of Claire’s practice, particularly in property transactions where deadlines are crucial.
Beyond her legal commitments, Claire enjoys exploring the local landscapes alongside her family and beloved dog. She also indulges her passion for literature, using the pages of a good book as a means to unwind and recharge.

Manon Wyn Roberts
LLB (Hons)
– Solicitor
Manon is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable solicitor. She started as a Trainee with Robyns Owen in 2005 and qualified in 2008. Fully bilingual, she specialises in Residential Conveyancing, Wills & Probate, LPAs and Court of Protection applications. She is happy to do home/ hospital visits and has a large and loyal client base of her own.
Manon has a compassionate and supportive relationship with her clients and is able to explain complex legal matters in a straightforward way.
In her (limited!) spare time she enjoys spending time with family and her animals. She has a labrador dog called Pegi, pigmy goats and hens. She also enjoys travelling, especially to America, and walking.

Bethany Cunningham

– Solicitor
Bethany is a qualified family solicitor based at our Caernarfon office. She supports clients with a wide range of legal matters, including Divorce and Financial Settlements. She takes pride in adopting an amicable and constructive approach wherever possible, helping clients reach solutions that minimise conflict and support long term stability as well as reducing costs, which is important when trying to split assets in order to finance two homes.
Bethany has a friendly and approachable manner and works hard to assist families in dealing with what can be challenging periods of their lives.
In her spare time Bethany helps her husband with his local Goats’ Cheese business (Yr Afr) as well as
going to the gym, hiking, climbing and spending time with her family and friends.

Lia Lewis
Practice Manager
Lia has thirty years’ experience in the legal sector, having previously worked at the office of a well known solicitor’s office on Anglesey. She progressed from junior receptionist to her current role of Practice Manager and has amassed knowledge of many areas of law, including Conveyancing, Probate and Divorce.
Lia’s exceptional attention to detail and ingrained focus on efficiency ensures the seamless and professional operations of the firm. As a beacon of efficiency, Lia takes great pride in delivering a superior standard of customer service, recognising the importance of fostering strong relationships built on trust and reliability.
In her leisure time, she cherishes moments spent with her husband, children, family members and friends.

Nia Jones
Practice Manager
Nia has been a cornerstone of Robyns Owen since joining the firm in 1994. A true multitasker, she has a hands-on approach, ensuring that everything runs like clockwork. For Nia no challenge is too great – she tackles every issue head-on with confidence and efficiency, particularly in relation to accounts, where her eye for detail is second to none.
With her unwavering commitment to the firm, her ability to remember clients and the details of their business, however long ago, her main role in the local “legal/conveyancing” network and her warm, personable nature, Nia is an invaluable part of Robyns Owen.
At home, Nia lives with her partner and their three dogs. She also has a flair for baking and is renowned for her exceptional cakes and sweet treats. In the past two years, she has taken up cake decorating—a hobby that has revealed a hidden talent, making her an incredibly skilled and creative cake artist.

Emma Widdowson
Conveyancer
BA (Hons) Psychology, MSc Foundations of Clinical Psychology, CLC Levels 4 & 6 Conveyancing Law and Practice.
Emma has twenty years’ experience working as a property search agent, carrying out regulated Local Authority searches, which has greatly contributed to her extensive knowledge of the property market. She is now working to obtain a full Conveyancing Licence.
A conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail, she ensures that anyone purchasing a property knows exactly what they are buying.
In her spare time, she likes attending the theatre, live music events, walking on Anglesey with its beautiful scenery and beaches, holidaying abroad and spending time with her family and cats.

Alison Humphreys
Receptionist
Before joining Robyns Owen Alison worked for more than thirty years with a well known firm of estate agents, where she progressed from office junior to the position of Office Manager/Sales Negotiator. She is well experienced in dealing with clients face to face and has an excellent understanding of the
conveyancing process, the business of buying and selling houses and understands that the importance of minimising the stress involved is crucial.
She is a dedicated, conscientious and empathetic individual. Nothing is true much trouble for her and she finds true satisfaction in seeing a job through to a successful conclusion.
In her spare time, Alison enjoys visiting places of historical interest with her husband, enjoying nature and countryside walks. She also likes to watch snooker and old classic films/TV.

Rhian Jones
– Client Services Specialist
Rhian joined Robyns Owen in 2017 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Fluent in both Welsh and English, she is efficient, capable and conscientious and takes pride in welcoming clients to the Porthmadog office as soon as they arrive and ensuring that she always delivers the best possible service.,
Born and raised in Abererch, Rhian is a proud Welshwoman with deep-rooted ties to her community. Her business experience and local knowledge ensure that she plays a key role in supporting clients, in particular when they are going through difficult circumstances.
Outside work, Rhian leads a dynamic and fulfilling life. She has a passion for car rallying, enjoys socialising with friends and loves traveling in her motorhome. Above all, she cherishes time with her family and adores making memories with her grandchildren.

Eirian Jones

Eirian joined Robyns Owen in 2023 and has shown herself to be highly efficient and meticulous. She takes great pride in her work and engages easily with clients, estate agents, and other law firms. Her professionalism and commitment have made her a valued member of the team.
Eirian learns quickly, particularly in relation to technology and systems and also takes pride in providing excellent customer service, where her local knowledge serves her well.
Beyond the office, Eirian enjoys long coastal walks along the local stunning beaches as well as spending time with her family and travelling to new destinations and different countries on city breaks.

Daryl Cooke
LLB
– Trainee Solicitor
Daryl completed a three year Law degree in 2024, graduating with a 2:1. He has a particular interest in Land law, Equity, Family law, Wills and Estates and Conveyancing and is now working to build his legal expertise and career at Robyns Owen.
Fluent in both Welsh and English, Daryl considers excellent customer service a priority and makes every effort to make sure that clients’ business matters are dealt with professionally and expediently. He also works as part of the network of estate agents, surveyors and other solicitors to ensure that all cases run as smoothly as possible.
Outside work, Daryl leads an active lifestyle, enjoying outdoor activities such as walking with his two dogs, Jack and Cymro, and hiking. He is also a fan of boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. An avid animal lover, Daryl cares for his two Kakarikis (parrots) and two corn snakes, reflecting his deep connection with nature and animals.

Sarah has years of experience of working in the local legal sector. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Sarah leads a rich and fulfilling life outside work, reflecting her deep-seated love and understanding of the natural world. In her leisure time, she indulges her interests in botany, finding solace and inspiration in the beauty of nature.

Rebecca Thomas

Before completing her Law degree Becky spent eight years as a generalist adviser with Citizens Advice, where she gained valuable experience in dealing with a wide range of legal and practical issues. She now specialises in Residential Conveyancing and Wills & Probate and aims to qualify as a solicitor. With excellent legal skills and knowledge, together with her dedication to client care, our clients know they are in safe hands.
During her studies, Becky gained practical legal experience working for a solicitors’ firm involved in the high-profile Infected Blood Inquiry, which sparked a deep passion for justice.
Balancing her professional ambitions with a full personal life, Becky is the proud mother of three children. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as walking in the mountains with her family dog, Milo, and cycling with her children. She also supports her local girls’ football team, where she volunteers her time and resources.

Jacqueline brings over thirteen years of experience as a legal adviser with Citizens Advice Gwynedd, where she developed a strong foundation in client advocacy and legal problem solving. She completed her Law degree in 2016 and is currently advancing her qualifications through CILEX to become a Chartered Legal Executive. She is an enthusiastic advocate for lifelong learning and development.
Jacqueline specialises in Conveyancing, Divorce and Wills & Probate, providing answers to clients’ queries in a warm and personable manner. She is committed to excellent customer service and ensuring that clients’ queries are resolved quickly.
A hard worker, Jacqueline has limited free time, but enjoys going to the gym, walking in the countryside, socialising and spending time with her family.
